Our mental delicious page has a lot of links tagged under the latter: Fresh's Current Marine and Milk bars always transform a shower or bath into an experience; Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin is insane--we even think Dr. Bonner's lavender is soap too. But the bar of Coco Loco Sunsational Sun Soap we picked up the other day at a Brooklyn housewares shop makes us want to post a third tag--SOAP. Where do we begin? The totally pure, nutty cocoa butter smell? The circa 1960's Hawaiian surf shop packaging? The lather as frothy as fresh meringue? The text on the box says, "It's a perfect match for enriching the appearance of tanned skin" but we bet this SOAP lures us into the shower on the most brutal of winter mornings.

I mean, there are a lot of great cleansers out there, many that I get to try for free, but very few that I absolutely love and get really excited about using. But if you were to look behind my shower curtain right now, you'd see an almost empty bottle of Philosophy's Purity Made Simple that I bought with my own hard cash. In fact, like the Best of Sephora judges and the voters of the Allure Readers Choice Awards, I can say with a clear conscience that Purity Made Simple is my absolute favorite liquid facial cleanser, hands down.

I just completed a two-leg journey to Seattle all the way from the East Coast, and was very excited to try out Biotherm's brand new Flash Recharge, an instant skin booster that promises its combo of ginseng, golden root and thermal plankton will deliver a jolt of new life to tired, stressed-out skin. And ya know what? It really, actually works. It just gives you a glowy, fresh-as-a-daisy allure, and kicks your skin's ass into gear. Or something like that.

It's the bloody Gucci of bees, darling." --Eddy Monsoon, Absolutely Fabulous And so marked our introduction to royal jelly, if not just a little skewed by the small-screen queens of British comedy. But we know better now. Royal jelly is a precious by-product of bees, pumped full of vitamins, proteins, fats and amino acids. Lucky for us non-bees, the Savannah Bee Company has combined the superfood with beeswax, propolis (the sticky resin bees use to seal cracks in their hives) and pecan butter to create a luxuriously rich body treat, housed within a sleek glass jar, further encased within an adorable (giftable) red box. A first whiff greets you with the delicious scent of blackberry, but we promise you won't end up smelling like a jar of jam. The formula quickly sinks in to reveal a faint hint of sweetness and--more importantly--soft, soft skin.
