![]() Image via Stila For those that think full-on foundation looks too heavy, tinted moisturizer is a savior. It makes your skin look like yours, but better, ya know? I've been devoted to my Chanel Hydramax SPF 15 for ages. Even though it's $55, it lasts a long time and all you need is a tiny bit for coverage without the masky look, an extra layer of sunscreen and a nice, glowy radiance. But let's face it: Times are tough and in the interest of saving some cash, I am so open to cheaper alternatives. And thanks be, I found what I was looking for... Stila's newish oil-free Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 embodies everything I love about the Chanel and more. At $36, I wouldn't call it cheap exactly, but every little bit helps and honestly, when it comes to skincare, sometimes you have to splurge a little. The thing that's so great about this stuff is that it covers all your bases--nice, sheer coverage, wide shade range, fabulous wearability--but it does more, too. It's got SPF 30, which is always better than 15, and it's like a new car loaded with all the amenities. White Willow Bark absorbs excess oil so your skin always looks smooth (not too matte, not too dewy), silk amino acids ensure the product glides on, and pomegranate extract soothes and adds a bonus antioxidant kick. In short, it's your tinted moisturizer, but better. Loves it. 1 CommentsLeave a comment |

I use philosophy Supernatural tinted sunscreen/moisturizer. I can never find a good match of foundation for my skin (I am fair and tend to get red around the cheeks and chin) so this peachy sheer pearly cream is a godsend. I believe its $30 for 1/6 oz., but you only need a pea size to cover your whole face.
