![]() Image via Completely Bare Now, make no mistake: Completely Bare has revolutionized crotch care everywhere. They have very high standards when it comes to beneath the border landscaping, and I'm a big fan of many of their excellent treatments and especially their very cool owner and beauty expert Cindy Barshop. However. I'm not sure how I feel about the Bikini Bump Blaster. Yes, the product itself is a great idea for preventing ingrown hairs near your bikini line and markets itself thusly. (Although personally, once I stopped waxing and started shaving, I never got an ingrown again, so...) But if you read the label closely, the active ingredient is two percent salicylic acid, which is the exact same concentration of the identical ingredient in Neutrogena Acne Rapid Clear Daily Treatment Pads Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment, which has a ridiculously longer name, yet costs A LOT less at about $8.00 compared to the Blaster, which is $32 plus shipping and handling. Both incorporate a hint of glycolic acid as well. Hey, it's up to you. |
