![]() Even Product Fiends have to draw the line somewhere: eye cream, sure; eye makeup primer...come on, I have enough to worry about. Miss Oops, a smallish beauty company whose mission is "to provide products that make life easier," makes some things that maybe you don't need. For example, perhaps I'm mistaken, but is their Popper Stopper, a kind of band aid made to prevent a pregnant woman's protruding belly button from showing through her clothes really necessary? Still, I was just sent their Pedicure in a Bottle, and ya know what? Mikey likes it! Here's why... Extemporaneous products don't bother me so much when they at least have dual uses, and ever since sandal season started I've noticed that well, to be completely frank, my feet look so disgusting that I'm embarrassed to go get a pedicure, which is when you know things have really gotten off track. The Miss Oops formula--which includes shea butter, salicylic acid, peppermint, menthol and lavender--exfoliates and hydrates at the same time, and really does seem to make a huge difference. I like to slather it on, douse some cotton socks for an hour or two, and rinse it off in the shower for noticeably softer feet that feel good enough for me to rub up against my boyfriend's legs in bed, and even wear my summer shoes in without tucking my feet under my skirt in a self conscious way. I guess sometimes you have to incorporate seemingly overly specific products in order to keep things simple at the end of the day. Or uh, something like that. Whatever. Yay Miss Oops! |
