I'm not really sure why pixel art is having this huge moment all of a sudden. Maybe because it's 2008 and it's so futuristic or something? (Sadly, when I was a kid in 1988, I thought we'd all be flying around in jet cars and have personal robots doing our bidding by now, but I digress...) There's crazy cool pixelated jewelry, public art, and now, ink. As the personal recipient of a heinous tattoo, I'm a bit wary about any permanent skin designs, and I'm similarly torn on this hipster heavy one (getting rid of that sucker is gonna be a real bitch!). How do you feel about pixelated body art? Hot sensation or trend to avoid at all costs?
