I've kinda stopped reading Perez Hilton. What used to be kinda fun and silly has turned ugly, and the offensive bodysnarking is rampant. So after a long dry spell, I decided to see what Perez had been up to, and what I saw alarmed me. Seems Perez had his manties in a bunch, because a photo of Lauren Hutton was labeled in white (traditional Perez fashion) with the word, "HAG!" accompanied by the following copy:

Old hasbeen model Lauren Hutton attacked Sex And The City's portrayal of promiscuous women AND blamed "gay writers" for creating the stereotype that single women are "sluts" on the Today Show Thursday!

Apparently, Hutton said, "It's written by guys, who happen to be gay, who are sluts. That's what I think. Let's face it most men are sluts. That's what testosterone is supposed to do. As a hunter, if you stayed alive after 30, nature wanted your genes out there. Women were just trying to get the best sperm to make a masterpiece. You have a bunch a guys who are sluts, writing for women and telling them they are supposed to act like this." --Perez Hilton

I'm not sure if these words were taken out of context or what, but there are better ways for him to call her out than attacking her for being an old hag. Hollywood ageism has long been a crime against women, so I just can't stand to see it propelled in the media. Shame on you Perez.
