![]() Image via L'Oréal One day I was driving home from work, weeping openly because it was summer and roughly 400 degrees in my black car that had been sitting in the sun in a non-shaded asphalt parking lot. My weary brow was glistening from the blazing sun beating down through my open roof, and before I knew it my daily sunscreen began to drip down into my eyes. Why is this not a public safety campaign along with seatbelts and drunk driving, by the way? I wonder how many accidents are caused by sunscreens that blind you with their science? One of the several great things about L'Oréal's Revitalift UV daily moisturizing cream with SPF 15--aside from the fact that it protects against UVA rays (the aging ones) as well as UVB rays (the burning ones)--is that it doesn't seem to sting your eyes. I know this because I accidentally jabbed a finger into my eye while applying; no one has ever accused me of being graceful. The combination of a PABA-free sunscreen and a moisturizer is a coup, because it let's me sleep an extra two minutes in the morning (and sleep is a necessary part of your beauty regime, of course, so every extra minute makes me that much prettier) and no midday uglies as my skin starts to parch and die from the evil toxic air inside my office building. $22.99 isn't much to spend when you consider how much you get. |
