It's hard to believe that Leighton Meester is a natural blonde when she clearly owns the timeless Audrey Hepburn glow. One look at Leighton's skin and you're just dying to know what the heck she's using, right? Here's a clue: she was born in 1986. Oh, snap, Lindsay Lohan was born that same year and yet, her skin is approaching Cougar territory. We can definitely forgive Lilo for the zits (although the bad concealer job in the above photo is just a crime) but what does Leighton have that Lindsay doesn't?

Leighton's Gossip Girl character Blair Waldorf may have some things in common with LiLo, but I suspect Leighton isn't snorting coke off a Ronson. Smart money on the fact that she's practicing smart sun exposure and protecting that angelic glow with religious use of a moisturizing sunscreen that won't force a Zit Patrol, something like this super sheer oil free moisturizer from Peter Thomas Roth, and that incredible glow can't only be the work of a powdered illuminator: my Fiend instinct tells me that she's paying extra attention to her cleansing ritual with something like Clarisonic's amazing whirly brush with the delicate or sensitive brush so as to not mar that perfect complexion.

While Leighton's focusing on maintenance, Lindsay needs serious rehab for her skincare. It's a big duh that she's not doing her complexion any favors with the partying, sleep deprivation, and smoking, but for a not-quite-22-year-old, Lilo's sun damage is striking. Yeah, the faux glow can go a little orange, but Clarins has a great triple play bronzer pack that is so subtle that it's practically impossible to distinguish from the real thing. For her acne, she could employ some strategic therapy by way of Juice Beauty's Blemish Clearing Serum that will not only zap zits but deal with the potential fallout from scarring. Of course, we know our girl is always on the run, so she can stash this great Boscia willow bark spot treatment pen in her It Bag when she's dodging the pappies. Other photos of Linds show quite a bit of sun damage, and what 22-year-old has forehead creases? She should check into some targeted wrinkle action, like FusionBeauty's LiftFusion and heed the bad skincare example of another sun-worshipping It Girl.

Yikes. I hope I didn't just start a hate war between the two, because poor little Leighton just doesn't have the A-List chops to fight off the likes of LaLohan.
