![]() Image via Clinique As much as I have been a lifelong fan of Clinique, it is with a heavy heart that I must report that while I've been trying to adore their Self-Sun Touch of Bronze Moisturizing Body Lotion, it has fallen short of my expectations. One word: streaking (and I'm not talking about Will Ferrell in Old School). I absolutely love the fact that, unlike the majority of self-tanners, it's 100 percent fragrance-free, and doesn't even leave a trace of that slightly awful scent usually associated with similar products (even my beloved Jergens). But after using it once--and years of self-tanner experimentation have rendered me somewhat of an expert when it comes to application, if I do say so myself--I notice streaks so noticeable that I felt too self conscious to wear a skirt. I try to be a fair product tester, but a second inspection rendered the same results. What a bummer. Still, if you are the type that's allergic to most self-tanners and/or fear that smell, please go ahead and prove me wrong. Just proceed with caution: exfoliate well first, and apply as evenly as possible. On a more positive note, I have religiously been using their Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam, and it's become my irreplaceable spring go-to. Hmm... 1 CommentsLeave a comment |
