Besides the fact that it's just plain sketchy, apparently some nutso crime ring was just busted for selling stolen beauty products on auction sites. I'd always heard horror stories of young beauty editors getting fired for selling gratis products online (two words: dumb ass), but purchasing stolen goods is just icky. According to this local Florida news channel:
We estimate that (the theft ring) has stolen somewhere between $60 and $100 million worth of products," Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said. "They stole these products from Publix Supermarkets, Winn-Dixies, Albertsons, Sweet Bay, Wal-Mart and Target." Judd said the ring specialized in high-end health and beauty aids and cosmetics."
Cute. It's one thing to covet ridiculously expensive face cream, but how tacky is buying Wal-Mart products second hand? I shudder to think...

umm...why would anyone buy skincare products off ebay? especially the stuff sold at super markets? its hard to believe they had a customer base.
