![]() Image via Nuxe I'm a sucker for a face mask. No matter if the end result is to fight wrinkles (or add them?) I will slap any old mix on my face just to see what happens. Usually, the product is some crazy color that starts feeling uncomfortably tight and cracks on my skin and scares the beejesus out of my boyfriend. Not so with the new Nuxe Refreshing and Relaxing Moisture Mask. In this case, the name says it all. The face and eye mask is meant to be nourishing and super hydrating, and it goes on a milky white color, then dries to a transparent film. I uh, "spa nighted" it, in that I wore it for the suggested ten minutes, then sunk into a warm bath. After sponging it off, my face felt silky soft (much different than it does after, say, a tightening clay-based mask). It not only provides a hearty moisturize boost, but it's a great mask for ladies drawn to lovely natural ingredients like baobab (the tree's leaves are filled with vitamins and proteins), and lilies and irises (moisturizing flowers). The mask smells herbal, in a good way, but it's very faint. Two tips: stash it in the fridge in order to shock your skin into submission; or treat swollen, morning after eyes with an application all around your eye contour (fancy phrase for everywhere but your eyeballs) and a tea bag compress. |
