There are a million different products out there that promise to firm and lift and get rid of your wrinkles and wash your car and everything else, so when I got my hands on the brand new Skin Effects by Dr. Jeffrey Dover Firming Face and Neck Cream, I was awfully skeptical. Do we need yet another one to add to the shelves? And what, Skin Effects, can you do that the others can't? "Give you a fair price," the bottle said.

Okay, the bottle didn't really talk, and I didn't have mushrooms for lunch.
