In addition to all the random dietary and supplement changes I've been making lately in order to feel better and, let's face it, to get rockin' skin, I've stumbled on one that works better than fish oil and avoiding Gruyeres: no makeup. Sure, it's hard to resist the temptation to at least slather on a bit of concealer, but I haven't worn ANY makeup for the past few weeks and my skin is like, "THANK YOU," to the point where I hardly need any concealer anyway. I sit here, blogging to you live, sipping Borba Skin Balance Aqualess Crystalline infused water, with 100 percent fewer zits. (Um, knock on wood.) Best part? If I get lazy and skip washing my face at night, all hell doesn't break lose. Anyone else ever seen results from this "experiment?"

i love not wearing make-up. you're right, your skin instantly feels 10x healthier. i do this "experiment" a lot during vacations, but when it comes to waking up and going to work every day, i feel too naked if i don't put at least something on!

i couldn't agree more on the said subject. i used to wear tonnes of makeup and as a result, my poor skin suffered alot from this. i got zits, blackheads, whiteheads you name it they're all over my face. i stopped using makeup religiously about one and a half year ago and my skin is 100% CLEAR now. yeah i still break out occasionally, maybe when i'm not sleeping right or during my periods but most of the times, i can walk out of the house bare-faced now and enjoy every single minute of it! besides, i really really love the feeling my skin get when it isn't clogged up with all those foundation and concealers and whatnots. right now, i just use my eyelashes curler, some eyeliner and a lipbalm/lipstick to complete the look =)
