Allure asked a team of beauty experts to share their sources on how they get new ideas for products, and what the next big trends will be in the coming year. The surprising results, after the jump!

Robin Coe Hutshing, Studio at Fred Segal, makes the most of travel and uses new locales as a scouting method for new beauty swag, like the time she stumbled upon the brilliant L'annine Avacado Hand & Body Cream in a New Mexico hardware store. She thinks the Tria, a new at-home hair removal device currently pending FDA approval, is gonna rock us when it becomes available.
We say: Watch this You Tube demo to see if this is something you could actually see yourself doing at home.

Nicky Kinnaird, Space.NK, also uses travel to discover beauty innovations. She thinks chic French biotech line SheerinO'Kho, will catch on big.
We say: At Product Fiend, we've been feeling SheerinO for awhile now.

The gals at QVC insist that N.V. Perricone M.D. Cosmeceuticals new Firming Neck Therapy "is going to sell out in minutes."
We say: REALLY!? Huh.

Debbie Armstrong, CVS/Pharmacy is keen on Olay Regenerist 14-Day Skin Intervention, a brightening/moisturizing/firming combo.
We say: Interventions are hot in the celeb world right now, so maybe that translates to skincare?

Pick up the February issue for more.
