Arcona is kind of a West Coast thing. Celebs and high-maintenance L.A. types flock to the Santa Monica spa for facials and products that ironically, in the land of Botox, eschew medical procedures in favor of more natural skin care. Still, even hard-core East Coast gals like myself have to admit that there's something to the fresh, smiling faces that emerge from Arcona's doors, facially superior types like Natalie Portman and um, Steve Carell(!?), to name a few.

The Triad Pads, my personal favorite, are kind of like anti-aging cleansing pads. Each pink cotton disk cleanses, tones and hydrates with a blend of antimicrobial cranberry, vitamins, rice milk and nutrients like omega-3. It's a FAR cry from Stridex. Now I'm dying to get a facial there, but unfortch that means I'd have to go to L.A., and I'd so rather not.
