Europe is going apeshit over AR457, so I've been dying to try out some of their products landing at oh-so-trendy Space NK, and just got my hands on their two big new launches, Backup-Redefining and Firming Care, a super deluxe new body cream, and [peel] Hydra-Peel, a gentle facial exfoliant.

The big news is that argan oil, the staple ingredient behind the line, is rapidly gaining must-have cult status, or so says T mag anyway. Moroccans have been using it for years--they call it "liquid gold"--both for eating and for topical uses. It's great for conditions like acne and ezcema.

On to the product: Hydra-Peel. What can I tell you? It's not exactly gonna replace my trusty MD Skincare Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel; however, that dang body product rules. I put it on two days ago, skipped a shower yesterday due to extreme busy-ness/lazy-ness and/or freezing weather conditions and I swear, when I hopped in the shower today, not only did I notice my bod looked way hotter than usual (ha), it was fully apparent that the product was still on my skin! Creepy, but awesome. Is it worth the $90? It's a purported stretch mark prevention agent, and I can't really comment on that, but I can say it's the best body moisturizer I've ever come across, no baloney.
