I spent last night cooking chili, Texas style (lots of spice, a dash of good beer), to try and help fend off all this cold weather we're finally having. But as I gorged on my third bowl, I realized that instead of feeding my fat ass, maybe I should stop ignoring the sudden dry skin I'm getting and start feeding my face instead. So, this morning, nursing a sick overeating of aforementioned chili hangover, I marched (slowly) over to Whole Foods and bought the greenie cult classic, Weleda Skin Food. Not only is this stuff ridiculously hydrating, it contains anti-blemish organic pansy, which is so rare in a rich, yummy cream like this. Essential oils like lavender, sweet orange and rosemary make it smell better than a pot of slow-simmered chili. So you know, uh, feed your face already.
