I stopped believing in flavored lip balms back in '82, when I ate a huge wedge of bubblegum ChapStick. However, Kiehl's might have just changed my mind. Their Lip Balm #1 has always been a staple in my purse. My lips constantly crave that sweet, sweet combination of aloe and vitamin E like a junkie craves his heroin. I just previewed their latest theme and variation: Flavored Lip Balm #1, which comes in Mint, Pear and Cranberry. Since the abovementioned incident, naturally I was skeptical. But hold the phone: my favorite lip balm in chic flavors? I couldn't pass it up. Mint, needless to say, hit the spot and wins hands down. It's as satisfying as smoking a menthol on mushrooms...uh, so I hear. Cranberry is equally zesty, and oh so perfect for upcoming Thanksgiving festivities. Pear is sweet and subtle, just like the fruit. Hey Kiehl's, whatever you're doing, keep it up. I'll be anxiously awaiting Saffron and Vegan Cupcake.
