My husband joined me for a little water conservation one morning in the shower and when I asked him to hand me my body wash, he looked at the bottle and said skeptically, "Isn't this a little...um, downtown for your normal standards?" and then waved a hand toward my collection of the best high-end suds that Sephora has to offer. And granted, if it weren't my job to blog about what you can also find at Rite Aid, I might have never picked up this bottle. But boy, would I have missed out.

Johnson's released its Melt Away Stress wash eight months ago. I don't know about melting away stress--a Xanax and few sips of white wine is the only concoction on earth that does that for me--but for a $3 bottle of body wash, this stuff is the jam. My skin is super soft and smells fresh (not like my baby niece after her tubbie). In fact, my skin did feel softer than my usual Dove Body Wash, which is really is the best I've found up until now. The only thing I would change would be the color, a disturbingly unnatural hue that my husband declared "smurf goo."
