Well, probably not that much, besides an affinity for glamour and a partnership with amber. Guerlain's new anti-aging Success line is stuffing pure, A-1 Baltic Sea-bred amber extract into a three-step regimen that includes a day lotion, night cream, and of course, the ubiquitous serum.

The science, according to the Guerlain press release:

"Guerlain's team of researchers discovered that this exclusive amber extract, with its incredible conservation power, acts as an energy stimulator. This energy stimulates the production of neurotransmitters, which spur fibroblasts to create new collagen. The result is a dual anti-aging action, both firming and anti-wrinkle. The complexion is firmed, renewed and restored." Hmm...I remember when coffee was energy stimulator enough. Has anyone rolled around in this stuff yet? Sounds interesting, if only because I've never heard of amber being applied to skin care.
