I've been spending a good percentage of my paychecks on Perricone products for years now. I love the man, but I've got to say that his line is hit or miss. I was really excited to try his Face Firming Activator that came out in Feburary of this year. But sadly, after using it religiously for four weeks, I saw no real change. It's chock full of acids and mega-antioxidants, but the Perricone magic just didn't happen for me this time. And the worst part is it smells a lot like fish! Why Dr. P, why?

We know you think we should be eating salmon to ward off wrinkles--but applying a fish sauce topically? Our guess is that the catch-of-the-day-like scent is probably due to the inclusion of DMAE, a natural compound found in fatty fish such as salmon, sardines and anchovies. I don't care if this product transformed me into Scarlett Johansson--I draw the line at smelling like dirty dinner plate. We're sticking with the two Perricone products that give us insta-glow: Face Finishing Moisturizer and Evening Emollient.
