ZIT ZAPPER

![]() Image via Neutrogena It's kind of funny how product names differ from country to country. I suspect it all has to do with marketing and um, local flavor (or flavour). For example, a pager is a bleeper in the U.K., a biscuit is a cracker, a cracker is a party favor, and so on, and so on...I'm still overseas right now (heading back soon!), but in the meantime, I've been battling the high humidity breakout blues with yet another yummy Boots find, Neutrogena Visibly Clear Rapid Clear Treatment, nightly. I was drawn to it because A) I heart Neutrogena (Allure agrees, and British Glamour gave it a thumbs up), and B) the package promised the product would "visibly reduce spots in just eight hours." Since a certain humongous red zit on my face was whispering "There's no time to lose," I just had to try it. In eight hours, things were looking promising. In 16 hours however, that blemish was well, quite adequately blasted. Apparently, the magic formula is MicroClear, a sal acid blend that uses microspheres that do an open sesame number on your pores. Look for it in the states under Acne Eliminating Gel, a.k.a. miracle worker. |
