A few years ago, face mists were this new novelty, and some skin care experts (in the form of old-school dermatologists) called bullshit. "They're unnecessary, they dehydrate rather than moisturize," etc. Of course, now that there are 500 million products on the shelf in the category, I guess we're all gonna have to agree to disagree, huh? From my first tender moments with Face Spray 101 product Evian to sweet encounters with Shu Uemura's brilliant, fabulous, and unique Depsea line, I have been and always will be a true face mist devotee. Sometimes they can be expensive though. Is the sensual (and highly addictive) pleasure of spritzing oneself throughout the day worth it, or are the folks in white right in calling it unnecessary? You tell us.
