Does it annoy anyone else that women's shaving cream and razors always seem more spendy than men's? My own recent poll on drugstore.com found that the current top selling men's shaving cream was Edge Advanced, on sale for $2.80, and the women's was Aveeno Positively Smooth at $3.99. Now, this isn't a humongo price difference, but we are talking about a society where women are still experiencing a wage gap in the workplace. Then there are the insulting marketing gimmicks at play, like uh, companies trying to appeal to women by manufacturing shaving accessories that are perfumed and pink because, you know, we're girls and we want to buy pink stuff. Give me a break!

My solution: I use good ole Barbasol (in Soothing Aloe, natch). It may not be filled with froofy floral infusions, but it works better than anything else I've ever tried, and at $2.29, it doesn't break my splurge-on-schmancy-eye-cream bank.
